Happy New Year One and All!

Here's to hoping 2005 is a prosperous new year for all homeschoolers!

We have no group activities planned for January as our children are VERY busy with SWIM TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS! You can view their team site and information by clicking on this link: http://www.snapperswim.com

I have been getting email from people on the shore who are confused as to the area we serve. We are based in NORTH CANAAN....that is a small town on the border of MASSACHUSETTS. We border the towns of Norfolk, Lakeville, Salisbury, Falls Village, and neighboring state towns of Amenia, NY, Millerton, NY, Dover Plains, NY, Hillsdale, NY and Sheffield, MA, Great Barrington, MA.  We welcome anyone from anywhere, any state.  I personally do not know much about NY or MA state homeschooling law, as I reside in CT. So please refer to your state's homeschooling information that can be accessed at your Town Offices or by searching your state and homeschooling on http://www.google.com or another search engine.

Coming up in February, we will be beginning to look at setting up HIKES and LETTERBOXING for the spring! I am itching to get out there this year! We are hoping to have some informational herb hikes, as well as finding some new letterboxes.

Please check back for more information once the swimming championships are concluded. Wish our team luck! They have worked hard this year!
